Teaching/Research Experience: 

Dean and Professor at University School of Management Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) on deputation from FMS, Delhi University. Prior to joining GGSIP University in August 2002, Reader and Advisor Corporate Relations and Placements with the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. Joined FMS as a Lecturer on March 1, 1978. Worked in industry for four years prior to joining academics. Areas of specialization are Marketing and Strategic Management. Have been a visiting faculty in the area of marketing at the Kathmandu and the Pokhara Universities of Nepal. Marketing Unit Chair and Principal Educational Consultant for Deakin University of Australia for their Distance Education Program in India. Have been consultant to several Indian firms and have been conducting management development programs and special lectures. Have published several books, management cases and research papers. Participated in several conferences, seminars and workshops, both at national and international level.

 

Awards

Awarded “2004 Higher Education and Development Award” by the International Association of Educators for World Peace (UN affiliated NGO) at the Higher Education and Development Summit held at New Delhi on April 15-16, 2004.
